1st Republica Tournament Sign-Ups

CALL TO ARMS

Announcing the 1st Republica Tournament - to be held at Eastwatch Arena and hosted by the Capital and Eastwatch. The Tournament will consist of 2 separate divisions, rules and winners' prizes detailed below. You can enter in as many divisions as you desire.


Gladiator Division

Details:
1 v 1 match-ups. Combatants will be given identical armor, weapons and ammo to use. No outside items/blocks/food/weapons/armor is allowed. No mod/admin cheats are allowed. Random, bracket-style matchups will be used to determine fights.

Prizes:
Grand Champion - $15,000 cash, ownership of Rosethorn Manor, seat on the Eastwatch Council, title of 1st Grand Champion of the Arena. Will be given an advantage in the War World contest (to be announced later).
Runner-Up - $2,500 cash, diamond sword.


Team Division

Details:
2 v 2 match-ups. Combatants will be given identical armor, weapons and ammo to use. No outside items/blocks/food/weapons/armor is allowed. No mod/admin cheats are allowed. Random, bracket-style matchups will be used to determine fights.

Prizes:
1st Place Team - $10,000 cash each, title of 1st Team Champion of the Arena, names are enshrined on the Arena wall. Will be given an advantage in the War World contest (to be announced later).
Runner-Up Team - $2,500 cash each, diamond sword given to each figher.

Apart from the World War Benefit reward this sounds good, I think everyone should start the War with a clean slate. I'd like to participate but I'm going to be away from Minecraft whilst I go on Holiday.

What kind of holiday prohibits MC'ing? I'm on MC all the time, and I'm "on Holiday."

I figured out what was going on with my name—I'll sign up under this one, in the gladiator division. Which I will win, of course.
