1.8 and Bukkit

1.8 should be dropping this week (maybe Monday) and that means you'll be seeing a prompt to upgrade your client. As Bukkit updates are always behind Minecraft updates, the server will be staying at 1.7.3 until Bukkit is updated. As of now, I have no idea how long it will take for Bukkit to update. Hopefully it will be <24 hours...

Me, NoIceAge and dt should be back up and running once the server updates to 1.8. I'll also be running better than ever on my new custom built PC Very Happy

Not sure if you all have seen yet, but Jeb has changed the date to Sept. 12th now. Or at least said it was more likely to be delayed until then.

And with the update also comes the question: To directly update after launch, or not update directly...
Update right away, and you can see all the good stuff right away and train yourself in fighting the new mobs
Bad things include: Bugs, servers still using 1.7.3
