The server is now at 1.8 and the new map is loaded. We are missing a couple plugins (mainly Towny) but everything else should be good to go. Please report any glitches or bugs you find

Here is whats up with 1.8 (as of now):

- Towny doesn't like playing with the newest version of iConomy (6.x) and the older versions of iConomy (5.x) don't work with 1.8
- The IRC plugin doesn't really work. It shows when people talk, but not what they are …

instead of connecting to the website via republica.forumotion.com, you can now connect using www.republica.forumotion.com We will also be updating the IP of the server, so standby for that

update 2: working on setting up the new IP for the server, so you probably won't be able to connect to the server for a couple hours (trying to do while at work ).

If you haven't already noticed, there are no more ads for registered users (they used to be right under the nav bar). Guests and Users that aren't logged in will still see them however...

I've also added a Facebook Connect option. To enable this, click the "Profile" link in the Nav Bar then click the "Preferences" link and you should see a button for Facebook Connect. You must be logged into Facebook for this to work. Spread the word about the server by "liking" us on the bottom left of the Portal
